Freemavens, a pioneering partner in strategy and insights, is proud to announce the strengthening of our leadership team with the return of Co-Managing Director Lucy Thompson from maternity leave.

“We’re thrilled to have Lucy back in the Leadership Team,” said Eleanor Lloyd Malcolm, Co-Managing Director. “We’re in a period of rapid growth and transformation; collaborative leadership will help us achieve our bold ambition for human-centred, tech-enabled growth at pace.

Our Co-Managing Directors bring a wealth of complementary experience to the company’s executive team. Their leadership will drive Freemavens’ commitment to pioneering insights and strategies that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

“I’m excited to be back at Freemavens as we enter this new phase,” shares Lucy Thompson, Co-Managing Director. “Eleanor and I are well-positioned to drive strategic initiatives that will propel us forward, setting a new standard for purposeful collaboration at every level throughout the organisation. I’m eager to get started and make this vision a reality.”

In addition to strengthening our Senior Leadership Team, Freemavens is investing in talent across the board with hires in Client Services, Data Science, and Product. These strategic investments reflect our dedication to providing unparalleled services ahead of the curve.

The expansion of our Client Services team includes the appointment of Jon Spencer as Director. Spencer joins us from Kantar, where he served as Senior Client Lead, running strategic insight programmes for Kantar’s top global clients.

Alongside Jon, Freemavens have hired Katie Hampton from Dunnhumby. “Client-centricity is at the heart of our strategy,” says Co-Managing Director Eleanor Lloyd Malcolm. “Our commitment is to our client partnerships; equipping organisations and their people with the tools to forge forward in our ever-changing and unpredictable world with confidence.”

Additionally, Freemavens is doubling down on both Data Science and technology to propel its innovative product-centred services. Last year, Freemavens won the prestigious MRS ‘Research Live Innovation of the Year’ award for its pioneering performance modelling tool, TILT. Founder and Innovation Partner Andrzej Moyseowicz drives Freemavens’ product initiatives forwards, “We are so grateful for how clients are using TILT to think holistically – and more bravely – about the factors impacting performance in uncertain times. Our product success continues with technical development alongside investment in new talent and systems to scale our data-integrated product suite. The team, clients, and scale of impact continue to grow.”

Amidst this period of transformation and expansion, Freemavens has also unveiled a refreshed brand identity and state-of-the-art website housing our latest insight-driven thought leadership. We invite clients, partners, and industry peers to explore our enhanced offerings and connect with our team to discover how we can unlock growth together.
